Theo's Restaurant

My husband, who can be picky, says the meal was one of the best he's had. Definitely in the top five for the both of us. The portions are huge, making for a great lunch the next day. Wonderful staff, it definitely has a home town feel.

I have been here twice, better stick with their red meat dishes, specially lamb. Their seafood platter was a total disappointment. all mixed and piled up in one plate.

Came in for a visit with family and friends...reservation was booked efficiently. We were pleaseantly received and given the gorgeous patio. Beautiful establishment, superb dining experience and very personable staff!!. Thanks for a great experience!

Wonderful Greek food in a traditional Greek family setting.

Had a great experience at Theo's with my wife, 10 yr old son and my mother-in-law. Good range of generations and we all had a fantastic experience. First off the environment and ambiance of this gem of a restaurant is one of those timeless unique experiences. You don't won't find this vibe unless you are somewhere on a Greek island. Super authentic. The food was top notch. Healthy portions and great range of flavors. The Lamb shoulder in particular was amazing. Whenever I go to a Greek restaurant I always try to have some kind of lamb dish. This one was simply the best I've ever had. Massive portion, beautiful smells and fell off the bone like butter. Delicious. Best I've ever had!

Came here for my boyfriend's and my anniversary. Parking was easy to find as there's a lot in the back as well as plenty of street parking. I asked for a cozy spot and I got it! There's so much natural light and the decor is quaint, service was great, and food was delicious. I just wish we had room for dessert!

This was one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The food was absolutely mouth watering! Quick, efficient and friendly service. I atmosphere was so unique and cozy! A 5 star experience!

It was good ! The lamb was cooked perfectly, and the portions are good sized. My only complaint is just my own personal view and taste. I had the rack of lamb and in my OWN opinion, there were too much rosemary on it. It actually distracted me from the taste of the sweet New Zealand lamb underneath.For me, half the rosemary, a little more salt.

Delicious food, good prices, will order again! Take out dinner from Theo’s was delicious and filling after a day filled with moving to Penticton from the Lower Mainland. We have found a restaurant that we will return to again and again. Thank you for a yummy dinner!

Went here for supper in winter. Beautiful spot with a large menu, excellent service and excellent food. Three of us shared the dinner for two plus an appetizer. It was more than plenty of food and gave a nice well rounded exploration of different options. Visiting from Ontario but I'll go back again!

Such an amazing ambience and detailed decor that makes you feel like you’ve entered Greece to escape for an evening of fine dining. Lovely place for a group meal or a romantic date night out

First restaurant we have had food from since moving here on the fall that was not hood. Over priced, poor potion size, love our Greek food but will not ever go back, very disappointed. Called to let the manager know we were unhappy and he was very rude.

Amazing ambience. Greeted by the owner. Belly Dancing Friday and Saturday nights. Excellent food and wonderful service.

Lots of vegan options! Thank you for that! The decor in this spot is beyond stunning. It really sets the mood for any occasions. We love the photos with the hand written descriptions, it tells the story of Theo's history.Quiet on a Thursday which was great. Weekend is most likely busy! Definitely will be going back next time we are in town!

This is as authentic of a Greek experience as you can get. They had people dancing and breaking plates on the ground and even belly dancers. I tried the rabbit which was really flavorful and next time will try the lamb shoulder.

This restaurant lived up to all my expectations.. the food selection was superb...the service was superior and the food was delicious. The ambiance and decor enveloped us in old world greece. Was a wonderful experience.

Hey! don't make me wrong, the food is good, the music is Greek style and the ambiance as well. But sorry the food has nothing to do with Greek dishes. Moussaka and souvlaki don't have the taste of Greek dish. No olive oil flavor, aubergine and zucchini don't stay in the mouth long enough to appreciate the flavor even the garlic was not fresh. My expectation was probably to high, I remembered when I was in Athens and in different town in the Peloponnese like Monemvasia, oh my god ! Aubergine was tender and tasty and, more I chewed and more the good persisted in the mouth and the palate.So I guess if you pretend to be a Greek and do Greek dish in my mind it should have been a Greek flavor.

Great food, really well cooked. Service was great and the staff were friendly. The inside of the restaurant is actually quite amazing looking; lots of big rooms. Atmosphere when it's busy must be amazing. Prices are a bit high, but it's very good quality. Strongly recommended; it's a local institution.

Love this place. We always share a lamb shoulder (so tender) and a nice bottle of local red wine from their great selection. Friendly servers as well.

Best Greek restaurant I’ve ever been to! Delicious and authentic food and friendly staff. As soon as you walk into the restaurant, you feel as if you have entered Greece itself. Beautiful decor and a tranquil atmosphere.

Great Greek restaurant with an amazing selection of dishes to choose from. You are greeted by a very Greek themed restaurant with the aroma you would expect. Staff was very friendly and accommodating as we had 2 families with 5 young kids to feed. The kids devoured the pizza and ribs, while the adults finished off the chicken soulvaki, beet salad, and calamari dinner...so much so I didn’t have time to take the photos! Would highly recommend this restaurant...will be coming back the next time we are in Penticton.

Delicious restaurant with great items on the menu and lots to choose from. Definitely recommend coming here with friends and family or even another date. Lots of seats available and an abundance of parking also. Restrooms were clean and the desserts were yummy. Lots to choose from from the bar. Easy to get to located centrally in town. Friendly staff.

I have been going to Theo’s regularly for over 20 years, and the with the owner, the food, service and vibe is still great. Still see Theo and Nikos from time to time. Greg, you are really carrying on a great family tradition. Keep it up. Ian K.

I found this amazing hidden gem Theo's in Penticton, BC of all places. It didn't look like much from the outside but as soon as you walk in you feel like you are no longer in BC. They are a Greek restaurant that was started and is still run by the same family for 30 years I believe. The recipes are original and authentic. They have a separate Vegan menu to die for. I still can't get over how delicious my Vegan platter was.

Yummy Greek food! The portions were excellent and the flavour was also on point. We split both plates and were stuffed by the end. The patio outside is fairly small, however the inside is huge. Service is fair. Would for sure come back here when I'm in Penticton again. Loved the amount of veggie options on their menu!

Me and my girls had an amazing experience last night! I couldn't stop raving about the place and the new owner. He made a great effort to talk with each table and help serve and clean the tables as well. He had even offered us complimentary dessert which was PHENOMENAL. Our meals and service was great as always. Favorite restaurant in town!

Best Greek restaurant I've been to so far. The lamb dishes are excellent. The cooked oysters are also very good. Parking may be hard to find but I guess you can park at the back (?). It has a very roomy atmosphere and the decorations seem Greek-like (I don't exactly know what Greek decorations look like). It didn't cost much either.

Great place, awesome food and wonderful staff! The owner is also very friendly. He came to my family's table to say hello and wish my now 1 year old boy (Theo) a happy birthday! My family and I love Theo's restaurant! Definitely recommend. 👍👌Also, I'd like to mention that the decor is very beautiful and while sitting down to eat a meal, the seating area is very cozy.
